Insurance owns a language all its own and people who are new to the industry have to catch up. This series of sessions is designed to equip the insurance new hire, whether in an agency, at an insurance company, or otherwise engaged in the work of insurance with the language and information that they need to begin their career. This course of study has not been approved by any state as a pre-licensing course.

One of the unique parts of a CGL policy is that has many kinds of insureds. The insured entity (the Named Insured) is an insured, for sure. But there are so many others who can be an insured as well. That's before you even begin the conversation about an additional insured. In this session of our New To Insurance series, we will dive into who is an insured on a CGL policy and answer the question.

Who is an insured?
