In 2022, ISO completed its latest update of the homeowners' program. With that, they deployed a new policy form, designed with a modern renter in mind. This renter was different from earlier generations of renters. Economic factors, technological changes, and customers' attitudes toward insurance all worked together to cause ISO to take a long look at their traditional renters' policy, the HO-4.

That's why they created the new HO-14. It's similar to the HO-4 but has some important differences. In this session, we will explore some of the reasons they created this form and many of those significant differences.
